About me

Kohinoor Mukherjee is one of the most sought-after Mixing & Mastering Engineers in Bollywood and regional film industries. He also works in the indie and fusion music scenes across the globe, collaborating with renowned artists and musicians.

As a child, Kohinoor inherited his love and passion for music from his mother, Raka Mukherjee, an internationally renowned Hindustani classical vocalist. While deeply rooted in Indian classical music, he also developed a strong interest in Western classical music. He began receiving vocal training from his mother and piano training from Mr. Sam Engineer, which helped shape his musical journey.

After moving to Mumbai in 2006, he pursued a Sound Engineering course from Digital Academy and started working as a Recording Engineer with music director Anand Raj Anand.

In 2008, Kohinoor came in contact with music director Pritam Chakraborty and continued to record many of the top-rated Bollywood singers for several popular films.

Almost simultaneously, he focused more on Mixing & Mastering, which led to his rise as one of the most sought-after Mixing & Mastering Engineers in Bollywood and regional film industries. He has also worked in the indie and fusion music scenes globally.

Over the years, he has worked with some of the most celebrated artists including Ananda Raj Anand, Pritam, Arijit Singh, Neeraj Shridhar, Sachin Gupta, Anushka Shankar, Shaan, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Ajay Chakrabarty, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Nayan Ghosh, Purbayan Chatterjee, Ishaan Ghosh, Anweshaa, Anindya Chatterjee, Gajendra Verma, DharamSandeep, Sanjoy Chowdhury , Harshdeep Kaur and many more.
